Adzagli /Jungle Funk (Kofi Ayivor) was taken from the EP Kofi recorded during 1979 at Eddy Grant’s Coach House Studios & Island Studios London The original track is an example of what Kofi himself jocularly referred to as "disco boogie". It was the first 24 track studio in Britain then and at the time was state of the art recording technology. Adzagli is the name of Kofi's uncle who taught him to become a master drummer, the Ewe text is a humorous stringing together of proverbs.
